Thanks for your interest in performing at an upcoming New York Imagination Society (NYIS) event! Founded in 2016, NYIS is a gathering of like-minded individuals from the New York music scene. Our mission is to strengthen the New York artistic community and increase collaboration.

Each month, the NYIS (in conjunction with the Ludlow House) presents a themed concert. Past themes have included The Brill Building, Quentin Tarantino Soundtracks, Wedding Songs, and the productions of Rick Rubin. The house band consists of a revolving cast of the best session and touring musicians based in NYC.

Recently NYIS has begun recording rehearsals at Boomtown Studios. These sessions provide an opportunity for artists to document our collaborations in a studio setting.

Click the flier below to sign-up for an upcoming event. As the date nears, rehearsal details will become available. There is no payment as of now, but we do provide a couple of free drinks. This is a free event, and guest list will become available 1-2 weeks before.
