Rehearsal will take place on the day of the show at Boomtown Studio. Boomtown is LOCATED IN GOWANUS. If you put it in Google maps, it might direct you elsewhere; USE THE ADDRESS BELOW:

For the last couple of years we’ve recorded rehearsals in addition to the concert. Our mission is to strengthen the NY music creator community, and we’ve been planning ways to further do so.
The idea is to record the cover during rehearsal, produce/edit the track, and with that release a recording in the future. Due to to time constraints, we haven’t been able to actualize this plan, but we’re actively seeking ways to make this a reality. This is TOTALLY OPTIONAL. If you don’t want to participate, we’ll rehearse in the studio without recording.
Here’s the bullet-points:
Artist will record a mutually agreed upon cover for the New York Imagination Society (NYIS).
NYIS is responsible for all costs pertaining to recording, producing, mixing, distributing, and licensing the tracks.
Artist will have final right of approval of the master and any revisions will be addressed on a case-by-case basis with NYIS.
Artist grants right for NY Imagination Society to exclusively release and license the recordings.
Artists will retain a mutually agreed upon percentage of the master recording.
We view this as an opportunity for the NY music-making community to grow and support each other. We don’t make money on these concerts and don’t anticipate profit on these recordings. We’re invested in making NY a driving force in the worldwide music scene. There’s so much unique talent here and in order to grow, we need to help each other.
If you’re not interested, your rehearsal time will be slightly shorter; we’ll book studio time accordingly. If you can't make rehearsal, we can do a run-through at soundcheck. Just email us if you CAN’T make rehearsal. If you can, click below.
